The PS-2 was the first standardized covered hopper in the industry and the first equipped with the 40 x 2-foot trough hatch, in place of conventional individual hatches. Along with this uninterrupted loading feature, these cars also have center discharge outlets for fast unloading of three interior compartments. The cars were produced through the late sixties when Pullman Standard went out of business. Some PS-2 hoppers are still in service today. Our scale-sized PS-2's feature many authentically intricate yet durable separately applied details.
