After World War II, over 100,000 PS-1's rolled out of the plants of Pullman Standard becoming one of the most popular boxcars of all time. Likewise the scale sized Lionel model of these cars, first released in 2002, became an instant "must have" for many O gaugers. Each car is defined by a rich array of exquisite, yet durable, detail including separately applied ladders, opening doors, catwalk, and a die-cast metal brake wheel with an attached brake chain. For 2003, four all-new liveries join the Lionel PS-1 Boxcar roster.
